After 39 long years of debauchery and Rock N’ Roll fun, The Rocky Horror Show – the original cult classic musical – finally makes its debut at the Chapel Street Playhouse! The Rocky Horror Showis the timeless story of what happens when two seemingly innocent, straight laced kids get their worlds rocked and turned upside down by a deranged mad scientist. Audience participation is highly encouraged! Due to content and language, Rocky is not recommended for children under 13 years of age. Chapel Street Playhouse, June 22nd, 8 P.M. and 11:59 P.M., June 23rd, 8 P.M.

 

Lynn Trefzger, Ventriloquist & Comedian

Lynn has won the hearts and laughs of her fans with her goofy humor and oddball characters. She even turns members of the audience into living dummies. “A first-rate entertainer” named Ventriloquist of the Year three times. The Grand’s Summer Children’s Theater presents a variety of fun and engaging performances by both local and national artists. Each show is a unique adventure offering something for everyone, with magic, ventriloquism, comedy, singing and dancing, classic fairy tales, and even a chance for local children to star in the show! The Grand, June 28th, 10 A.M. and 1 P.M.

 

Illstyle & Peace Productions Dance Company

Impossible IZZpossible celebrates the art and movement of hip-hop and includes a funky blend of locking, breaking, popping, tap and house dancing, vocal percussions, DJing, blending both modern and traditional dance forms.  The work emphasizes hip-hop’s use of similar steps to those found in ballet, modern and other, more traditional dance forms, adding an urban style to them to create new steps.
