Ice Cream Festival at Rockwood
It’s back! Delaware’s longest running family picnic makes its triumphant return this Fourth of July Weekend. Experience family fun for children of all ages at the Old Fashioned Ice Cream Festival at Rockwood. Featuring vendors, live music, local restaurants, eco-crafters and local creameries serving the region’s best ice creams, you won’t want to miss this! July 7th and 8th, 11 A.M.
Performed by Delaware Children’s Theatre. Join Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, and all their Wonderland friends in this funny and fabulous musical version of the classic children’s story. This charming production captures the lyrical beauty of Lewis Carroll’s timeless fantasy. The Grand, July 12th 10 A.M. and 1 P.M.
Biggs Summer ArtVentures Camp II
During this ArtVenture camp we will explore and create drawings, paintings and sculptures related to the pirates of Frank E. Schoonover. Each participants original artwork will be displayed in the Museum for a children’s exhibition. This camp will encourage your child to reach beyond the ordinary and let their imaginations soar! Things may get messy so be sure to wear old clothing. Biggs Museum of American Art, July 9th-13th, 9 A.M.
