Joan Armatrading brings farewell tour to Collingswood on April 18

Joan Armatrading will be making a stop at Collingswood’s Scottish Rite Theatre as part of a multi-city farewell tour.
Billed as “A Very Special Solo Evening with Joan Armatrading”, the intimate concert is not only one of the last of the British singer-songwriter’s live performances. It also marks the first time she will perform without any other accompanying musicians.
 
Armatrading boasts a 42-year recording career and is best known for hits “Love and Affection” and “Drop the Pilot”.  Her last album, Starlight, was released in 2012.
 
Tickets start at $39.50.  Opening act is Kristina Train
Saturday, Apr. 18, 8 p.m. – 315 White Horse Pk., Collingswood, N.J.
