The National Weather Service forecast calls for a period of ice over night and into the morning.
Delmarva Power is also preparing for this latest round of winter weather, and urging customers to be safe if they encounter downed power lines snapped by the weight of ice.
The utility warns there is the possibility of service interruptions.
Customers are asked to call Delmarva Power to report an outage, gas emergency or downed or damaged power lines.
