Former Ravens cheerleader charged with rape in Delaware
A former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader has been arrested in Delaware after she was accused of having sex with a minor.
Delaware State Police charged 47-year-old Molly Shattuck with third degree rape, unlawful sexual contact and providing alcohol to minors.
According to police, Shattuck provided alcohol to a 15-year-old boy and engaged in sexual activates with him at a vacation home in Bethany Beach, Delaware over Labor Day weekend.
The boy, who is from the Baltimore area, contacted the Baltimore County Police Department and police issued a search warrant of Shattuck’s Maryland home where they seized “items pertinent to the investigation.”
Shattuck turned herself in to the Sussex County Superior Court in Georgetown on Wednesday morning. She was released on $84,000 bond.
Shattuck gained attention in 2005 when she joined the Baltimore Ravens cheerleading squad, becoming the oldest NFL cheerleader at age 38.
