Former Governor Pete du Pont (pt. 2)

    Former Governor Pete du Pont was as shocked as anyone when Christine O’Donnell beat Mike Castle in the Republican primary last fall.  He endorsed her because that was what Republicans should do.

     He thinks she will run again, but she needs to come up with a better message.  He also tells Bill Cook and Shirley Min that he could have run for the senate in 1972.  Had he received the nomination he would have faced a young Joe Biden.  He doesn’t regret that, but wonders how history would have been different.
