For sale: buyer for Chester County building could be selected Thursday

Chester County administration officials didn’t exactly place an ad in Ebay, but they have received bids for the sale of a county building that could have a selected buyer as early as Thursday.

According to The Daily Local News, Chester County officials will brief three county commissioners on the final details of two bids for the central courthouse office complex.

The Daily Local News reports West Chester Borough residents have eagerly awaited the decision, while commissioners say they have only received a small handful of responses on the proposed sale.

For many residents, the main concern over the sale of the building is what the new developers plan to do with it.
