Final storm shelter in Middletown expected to close

Three weeks after Tropical Storm Lee ripped through central Pennsylvania, the final storm shelter in the area is expected to close.

The Patriot-News reports First Church of God on West High Street in Middletown, the last remaining storm shelter that is open, is scheduled to close.

Many residents in the area turned to shelters and the American Red Cross for help. The shelters have since become a home away from home for many people who are still recovering from the storm.
