The United States Colored Troops in the Civil War
Although not allowed to enlist when the Civil War began, thousands of African-Americans joined the fight after the Emancipation Proclamation cleared the way for their participation. Included in this program is the story of the 1st South Carolina Regiment, the first unit of Colored Troops to serve; and the famed 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, which included several Delawareans. This digital photography workshop is an introductory class with a mission to deliver hands-on, digital camera operation sessions to help photographers at beginner levels learn how to use their cameras to take great images.
