Exceptional playground unveiled
Leaders of Exceptional Care for Children will break ground today on a playground facility for children of all abilities to enjoy.
Exceptional Care for Children is a pediatric skilled nursing-care facility in Newark. The playground is designed to accommodate the medical equipment typically required for young critically-ill or medically-fragile patients at the facility. Employees at Barclaycard in both the United States and United Kingdom rowed 22 miles down the Thames River in England earlier this year to raise more than $30,000 to help pay for the facility.
