Employee attacked during robbery at Stenton Ave. CVS

Police are looking for suspect who robbed the CVS at 6344 Stenton Ave. and attacked an employee of the store.

At 7:47 p.m. on Tuesday a 22-year-old female employee of the store was working at the register when an unknown male entered to store to make a purchase. He then approached the counted armed with a black BB gun under a blanket and handed the employee a note that read: “all the money in the cash register.”

After the employees opened the register and placed the money in a white plastic bag, she put the bag on the counter. When the suspect reached for the bag, the employee grabbed the BB gun and backed away.

The suspect then came behind the counter and attacked the employee, punching her several times in the head while trying to take the BB gun back. A coworker then came to pull the suspect away from the employee.
