Emails show Al Jazeera viewers want to watch on Comcast

    Executives from Al Jazeera planned to bring 13,000 printed-out emails to a Comcast meeting today, proving viewers want to give the Qatar-based news outlet a spot in the local market.

    As the Philadelphia Business Journal reports, Al Jazeera received 38,000 emails to various cable companies lobbying to broadcast the news network. Of them, 13,000 were meant for Comcast.

    A meeting between Al Jazeera and Comcast is scheduled in Philadelphia today.
