Interested in the paranormal? Bring your flashlight and head to Laurel Hill Cemetery for a tour and ghost stories.The event will be hosted by Dr. Michael Brooks, author of “John Ruskin and Victorian Architecture.” Wine, beer and other refreshments will be served. General admission is $20 for the evening, which begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the cemetery.

Topics include mediums and a visit to the grave of Catherine Drinkhouse Smith, whose monument proclaims her as “one of the best mediums of her time” and the grave of Adam Seybert, who left a large sum to the University of Pennsylvania for a study of the truths of spiritualism.
