DSU band gets ongoing invitation to play London
Delaware State University’s Approaching Storm Band gets an open invitation to make a return performance in London “whenever they are able to do so.”
The DSU band apparently made such an impression when they played in London on New Year’s Day, that the group has been asked to return. Westminster Lord Mayor Duncan Sandys visited DSU earlier this month and extended the invitation in a framed letter presented to school leaders.
