Dozens arrested overnight for outstanding parking tickets

The law is catching up with those who’ve ignored their parking tickets for too long. Nearly three dozen people were arrested overnight in the city’s effort to collect on the outstanding fines.

NBC10 reports 32 people were taken into custody between midnight and 5:30 a.m., and are set to appear in front of a judge this morning.

The violators have about 500 traffic tickets for a combined total of $120,000 in fines. Don’t they know about South Broad Street?
