Delaware program focuses on parental involvement with student success

Delaware Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn hosts a workshop today on “School, Family and Community Partnerships:  Working Together for Students’ Success.”

Dr. Mavis Sanders of The Johns Hopkins University is moderating the discussion in New Castle, which is expected to draw about 70 teachers, superintendents, parents, PTA members and other education professionals.  Denn and the Delaware State Education Association also invited the principals of Anna P. Mote Elementary School in Wilmington and Dover’s McIlvaine Early Child Center, which recently received the Lieutenant Governor’s second annual Parental Involvement Awards.
