Delaware jazz festival extends into community

The DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is expanding its reach beyond downtown Wilmington’s Rodney Square.

The City of Wilmington announced today musicians performing during the free, week-long festival will step outside the boundaries of Rodney Square Saturday to provide free concerts and music educational programs at various community locations.

As for tonight, The Avery Sharpe Quintet and Ninety Miles take the big stage at 6pm and 8pm respectively.

Saturday, June 25 is the final day of the festival, which is now in its 23rd year.
