DE National Guard members deploy to Afghanistan, Iraq

Fourteen members of the Delaware Air National Guard will be honored at a Call to Duty deployment ceremony this afternoon in New Castle.

Thirteen of the airmen are headed to Afghanistan and one will go to Iraq. The group headed to Afghanistan will take part in Evasion and Conduct after Capture and survival training at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington state. After two months of training, they will head to Afghanistan for about nine months.
