U.S. consumers ready for holiday spending despite credit card worries

Retailers are rejoicing that Halloween arrives next week, ensuring big sales from trick-or-treaters and those planning parties through the weekend. Businesses will then set their sights on spending through the winter holiday season.

NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller spoke with Frank Newport, editor-in-chief at the Gallup Poll, to find out just how wide Americans will open their wallets this year.
