Chestnut Park reopens after construction

If it ever actually warms up for good this season (we’re looking at you, low temps and high cloud cover), you might enjoy some time in the newly renovated Chestnut Park.

The park on the 1700-block of Chestnut Street, has reopened after a year of renovations.

New lights, a fountain and a good scrubbing have the park ready for seasonal use, and now you can enjoy lunchtime music.

Take in the free summer concerts every Wednesday and Friday between noon and 1:30 p.m.
