Chestnut Hill Community Association mulls cost of web portal

It’s often the case that civic and neighborhood associations lack comprehensive, functional websites. If they have websites at all.

The Chestnut Hill Community Association is looking to expand its web presence by developing a portal for it, the Chestnut Hill Local newspaper, which the CHCA funds, and the Chestnut Hill Business Improvement District.

As the Budget and Finance Committee weighs the cost, the groups are taking into account the functionality of the site and what it will take to run it. The committee will meet again April 28 to discuss the site, which will include news from the Local, advertisements and announcements from the CHCA and BID.
