Carter Hart among 5 players from Canada’s 2018 world junior team charged with sexual assault, court docs show

Arguments will continue for weeks in the case involving Carter Hart, who left the Flyers in January, and four other members of Canada’s 2018 world junior hockey team.

The investigation, reopened in 2022, found reasonable and probable grounds to bring the charges, which could bring jail time if there are convictions.

PPD records show there were 12 citizen complaints against Patrick Heron before 2018. He’s set to face trial for more than 200 criminal charges related to sexual offenses.
