National Brownfields Conference works at Awbury Arboretum

As part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s National Brownfields Conference going on this week in Philadelphia, the EPA kicked off it’s activities by helping Awbury Arboretum in Germantown get a handle on some of its invasive species. EPA staff members and volunteers helped pick up trash and remove destructive, invasive plants at the arboretum before heading back to the Convention Center downtown to kick-off the conference.
