Police are asking for the public’s help to find a juvenile offender who remains on the run.

Police say 17-year-old Dejuan Robinson was being transported from Family Court in Wilmington just before 5:30pm on Wednesday, September 16th, when he kicked out a window of the van, and jumped out of the moving vehicle.

After ditching his shackles, Robinson was last seen fleeing in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Because of the ongoing investigation, police cannot say what Robinson may have been wearing under the jumpsuit or if security cameras in the area captured the escape as it happened.

The Wilmington resident was being detained on weapons related charges. This is not his first escape, in 2013 police confirmed Robinson broke out of the New Castle Detention Center.

Police say Robinson should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information that could lead to his arrest should call 911 immediately.
