    TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — After spending years beating down speculation about running for president or vice president, a real decision lies in front of Gov. Chris Christie.

    The 50-year-old Republican has said he won’t decide until after this November’s election. But he keeps talking about how much he loves the job.

    Political pollster Patrick Murray of Monmouth University says it would be better for Christie to run for president in 2016 as an incumbent governor.

    But experts agree that it’s a high-stakes choice: If he runs for re-election and loses, he’s done politically.
