A pair of environmental projects get started in Sussex

Delaware environmental leaders will be joined by their federal counterparts starting work on a pair of projects in Greenwood and Laurel.  The work is designed to reduce flooding in the towns while improving water quality of the Nanticoke River and Broad Creek.  In Greenwood, work will begin at Brenda Jones Park, while the Laurel work will start at Broad Creek Waterfront Park.  The effort includes stream bank stabilization and a greenway connection to three waterfront parks.
