$2,500 worth of valuables stolen from Roxborough apartment

Police are seeking three suspects in relation to multiple burglaries that have taken place in upper Roxborough.

At 11:30 a.m. on June 5, a silvery Chevy Impala was seen on a surveillance video parked outside the Summit Apartments at 8201 Henry Ave. Seated inside the car were three unknown black males.

The vehicle parked and two suspects, one in a fluorescent yellow vest and the second wearing a burgundy sweatshirt exited the vehicle and after entering the building, forced entry to an apartment.

The third suspect stayed seated in the car as a lookout.

Once inside the apartment the suspects took a silver owl ring with amethyst eyes, a Cartier “love” bracelet, a Tiffany Key necklace, a Tiffany chain bracelet, a gold “love” ring in cursive, a pair of diamond earrings, a Macintosh laptop, and an iPad Mini totaling $2,500.

When the suspects attempted to gain entry to a second apartment they were scared off after being confronted by the resident. They fled in their vehicle in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described as black makes in their early-to-mid 20s. The first suspect was last seen wearing a burgundy sweatshirt and dark-colored jeans. The second was last seen wearing a florescent yellow vest, blue jeans, and white sneakers. The last suspect was last seen wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, dark-colored shorts and white sneakers.

They were in a newer-model silver Chevy Impala/Malibu SS.
