Tuesday, Sept 20 – A student reported that he was shot in the left eye with a BB gun while walking home from school near Greene St. and Walnut Lane. Complainant was taken to the hospital. He was told he would be blind in his left eye.

September 15, 2011

7500 block Germantown Ave. – Apple laptop stolen from a Philadelphia School District school. Complainant said someone stole the item from her desk between 10:40-11:20 a.m.

8500 block Provident St. – two folding chairs and five playpens stolen from a recreation center. Complainant said the room containing the items is unlocked during the day.

1300 block Cardeza St. – jewelry stolen from the property.

700 block E. Rittenhouse St. – Nikon video camera, jumper cables and business portfolio stolen from a 1988 Toyota Camry between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8:35 a.m. Sept. 15.

6200 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said someone stole her phone after it dropped on the ground during a fight with two offenders.

 

September 16, 2011

Unit block Valley Green Road – leather purse, iPhone cell phone, Bloomingdale bag, make-up kit and a pair of golf shoes were stolen from a car.

8100 block Germantown Ave. – leather wallet containing an SS card, credit cards and $250 was stolen inside a Laundromat.

1100 block E. Sidney St. – Tom-Tom GPS stolen from a 2007 Toyota Camry. Complainant said her doors were unlocked at the time.

600 block Church Lane – watch and various CDs stolen from a Chevy Monte Carlo.

100 block E. Chelten Ave. – wallet containing $42, debit card, Access card and two receipts was stolen from a Pathmark.

5500 block Greene St. – 17″ laptop stolen from the property.

100 block W. Chelten Ave. – bag containing credit cards, debit card, driver’s license, iPhone and $80 was stolen from a Pathmark.

7100 block Cresheim Road – iPod stolen from a 2007 Toyota Camry.

74th Avenue / Ogontz Ave. – 1997 Pontiac was stolen.

1900 block 71st Ave. – welding helmet, jacket, gloves, post case, break cue and more stolen from a 2008 Ford F350. Complaiant works for Rhodes Metal Works.

 

September 17, 2011

100 block E. Springer St. – Metro Android cell phone, Police & Fire Dept. card and a driver’s license were stolen from the property.

5400 block Lena St. – complainant said a known offender cut her with a straight edge razor.

5700 block Greene St. – complainant, who is disabled, said an unknown man walked alongside her while she was in Vernon Park and stole several items from her. Complainant said she was intoxicated at the time. Offender ran off with a scooter key, house key and $800.

400 block E. Hortter St. – Dell laptop, processor chips, memory cards and sound cards were stolen from a Chevy Impala.

E. Johnson St. / Mansfield Ave. – complainant said two men robbed her and a friend at gunpoint while they were walking at the location. Offenders ran off with two cell phones, a cell phone case and $50.

7800 block Fayette St. – complainant said a man forced her at gunpoint to sign the title to her 2006 Toyota Rav-4 over to him.

700 block Vernon Road – 2001 Cadillac DeVille stolen. Complainant said he went to sleep and left the keys in the car.

2000 block Haines St. – a building was set on fire.

Stenton Ave. / Wyncote Ave. – complainant said a man robbed him at gunpoint. Offender ran off with a wallet, cell phone and $20.

 

September 18, 2011

W. Tulpehocken St. / Greene St. – complainant said she and her husband were robbed at gunpoint. Offender ran off with a cell phone and a set of keys.

100 block E. Pastorius St. – 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis stolen.

6600 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said a man robbed her and a friend at gunpoint. Offender fled with two wallets, IDs, credit cards and $20.

1100 block E. Rittenhouse St. – three bikes were stolen at the location.

N. 21st St. / 66th Ave. – 1999 Acura TL stolen between 12 a.m. Sept. 17 and 7 p.m. Sept. 18.

100 block E. Sharpnack St. – 2000 Oldsmobile Alero stolen between 10:30 –11:30 p.m.

 

September 19, 2011

6900 block Mower St. – 1996 Ford Taurus stolen between 8 p.m. Sept. 18 and 7 a.m. Sept. 19.

6300 block Sherman St. – iPod and two laptops stolen from the property between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 19.

1100 block E. Mt. Airy Ave. – complainant said two men robbed him on his way home from school. He said one of the offenders punched and kicked him. Offenders ran off with a book bag containing a bible, cell phone, keys and school books.

Unit block Bethlehem Pike – 9mm handgun stolen from the middle console of a car between 7:15 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Sept. 19.

5300 block Magnolia St. – 150 ft of copper pipe was stolen from the property.

500 block E. Ashmead St – 32″ flat screen TV stolen from the property between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19.

 

September 20, 2011

900 block E. Durham St. – 32″ flat screen TV was stolen from the property.

8400 block Provident St. – 32″ and 42″ Vizio televisions were stolen from the property.

300 block E. Price St. – two purses, wallet, $22, iPod Touch, two cell phones and clothing were stolen from the location.

Unit block W. Washington Lane – complainant said someone stole four jars of coins worth $3,000 from her home.

Germantown Ave. / E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said someone grabbed his iPAD from him as he was getting off the bus.

Greene St. / W. Walnut Lane – complainant said he was shot in the left eye with a BB gun while walking home from school. Complainant was taken to the hospital. He was told he would be blind in his left eye.

4900 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said her boyfriend beat her with a metal chair during a fight.

Unit block E Garfield St. – 32″ Colby TV, digital camera and a Panasonic amplifier stolen from the property.

5400 block Lena St. – a building was set on fire.

5600 block Magnolia St. – complainant said she was raped. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

E. Price St. / E. Wister St. – iPod, cell phone, wallet and more were stolen from a 2001 Honda Accord.

1000 block E. Haines St. – briefcase and books stolen from a 2005 Ford Focus.

 

September 21, 2011

6800 block Ogontz Ave. – complainant said that a known offender punched him in the face during a fight about drinking. The offender also chased the complainant with a knife and attempted to stab him. Offender was arrested.

Lowber Ave. / Cardeza St. – a 2004 Buick Regal was set on fire.

7000 block Limekiln Pike – house heating unit stolen from the property between 7 p.m. Sept. 20 and 2:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Complainant said the house is vacant and being renovated.

1900 block Dallas St. – two handguns were stolen from the property.

5400 block Wayne Ave. – complainant said someone stole $515 from her property.

200 block W. Gorgas Lane – stereo, antique clock, silver, clothes, pocketbook and small appliances were stolen from the property.

Lincoln Drive / W. Johnson St. – 2001 Toyota Solara was stolen between 8:15 p.m. Sept. 13 and Sept. 14. Complainant took the car to the location to be repaired.

8300 block Rodney St. – Macbook computer was stolen from the property.

6900 block Sprague St. – leather jacket, digital camera, six sweaters, fur coat, diamond rings and more were stolen from the property.

8100 block Williams Ave. – PECO metal box was stolen at the location.

Rodney St. / E. Mt. Airy Ave. – complainant said two men robbed him at the location. Offenders stole the complainant’s brush and transpass after a fight.
