The shooting down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 over rebel-held eastern Ukraine has caused diplomatic turmoil. A surface-to-air missile hit the Boeing 777 passenger plane last Thursday, causing it to crash, killing all 298 passengers. Among them were Dutch, Malaysian, Australian, British, Canadian and Belgian citizens. One American was killed. President Obama has called for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and an international investigation. It is still not certain who fired the missile, but Ukraine and Russia have been quick to point fingers. We have the latest from NPR’s COREY FLINTOFF from Moscow.
