The U.S. Open at Merion

Listen

Guests:  Tom Coyne and Joe Logan

Tiger Woods is in town, traffic along the Main Line will be a nightmare, and there’s not a hotel room to be found in the area. Today is the first day of the U.S. Open, one of professional golf’s four Grand Slam tournaments, and for the first time since 1981, it’s being held at the historic Merion Golf Club in Ardmore. In this hour of Radio Times we’ll preview the competition, “talk” the course which could present some challenges for the players, and learn about the history of the tournament at Merion. Our guests are golf writers TOM COYNE and JOE LOGAN, both of whom have been previewing the action all this week.
