We’re about three and a half months out from New Jersey voters going to the polls to elect Governor Chris Christie’s successor.

Democrat Phil Murphy and Republican Kim Guadagno would be well advised to add a newly released  report to their summer reading lists.

NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller speaks with John Weingart, Associate Director of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University and director of the institute’s Center on the American Governor.  He’s also author of the report, entitled “From Candidate to Governor-Elect: Recommendations for Gubernatorial Transitions.”
