This week the Supreme Court heard arguments in two cases related to same-sex marriage. On Tuesday the justices considered Hollingsworth v. Perry, debating the constitutionality of Proposition 8, California’s ban on same-sex marriage. Wednesday, the court turned to a challenge of the Defense of Marriage Act in United States v. Windsor, the 1996 law that prohibits same-sex couples from receiving benefits, like social security, from their spouse. This hour, we get reaction and analysis Supreme Court hearings on gay marriage from two constitutional law experts.  Marty talks with TOBIAS WOLFF, professor of law at University of Pennsylvania Law School and ED WHELAN, President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
