Listen 00:48:51

Guests: Zack Hample, Doug Glanville, Jamie Moyer, Larry Platt

Coming up on today’s edition of Radio Times in Review:  Opening Day was this week, so we’re devoting today’s show to the game of baseball. First, we’ll hear from ZACK HAMPLE about his obsession with catching balls in the stands.  We’ll listen to Marty’s discussion with former member of the Philadelphia Phillies, DOUG GLANVILLE.  They talked about his playing career and the travails of life as a professional athlete. And, we’ll hear from another former member of the Phillies and the oldest pitcher to win a game in the major leagues, JAMIE MOYER. He was joined by Philadelphia-based writer LARRY PLATT, who co-wrote Moyer’s memoir Just Tell Me I Can’t: How Jamie Moyer Defied the Radar Gun and Defeated Time.
