Listen

Guests: Pat Conroy, Roz Chast, Fred Hersch

Today we debut a new Friday show, Radio Times in Review, a weekly feature where we dig into our archives and rediscover some of the best conversations from Radio Times’ past. In this week’s edition, we’ll hear from author PAT CONROY, author of The Great Santini and Prince of Tides, among others. His memoir, Death of Santini, which chronicles his family’s reaction to the publication of the autobiographical novel, The Great Santini, was recently reissued in paperback. Then, we’ll listen back to our interview with New Yorker cartoonist, ROZ CHAST, whose 2014 book Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant, was among the winners of the first annual Kirkus Book Award. Finally, we’ll hear from jazz pianist, composer and arranger, FRED HERSCH, who was recently nominated for two Grammy Awards.
