Politics can be pretty divisive these days.  We see it in Congress and on cable news, but what about closer to home?  Has partisan politics affected our relationships with our friends, families or co-workers?  And how do you maintain a friendship with someone on opposite sides of the political aisle?  This hour, we’ll look at the ups and downs of talking politics with friends and family.  We’ll hear from with writer TAFFY BRODESSER-AKNER and her friend JANET FUCHS about how they maintain their friendship despite their political differences. And, we get some insights on political conversations and politically divided relationships from DEBORAH TANNEN, a bestselling author and a professor of linguistics at Georgetown.
