There are a lot of primary elections in Pennsylvania on the horizon and a special election this Tuesday that’s getting national attention. We’ll talk with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s CHRIS POTTER about the 18th in western Pa. and if it will be a national bellwether for the general election in November. As far as the other races are concerned, the GOP will selecting their general election candidate for governor to challenge Tom Wolf and the congressional candidates are gearing up for an interesting battle due to the newly drawn district lines. The 5th district alone has twelve declared Democrats and seven declared Republicans vying for the seat. Today, we’ll talk about the primaries taking place in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas with Daily News columnist JOHN BAER, and Philadelphia Inquirer reporter, HOLLY OTTERBEIN.
