NRBQ and Friends

NRBQ (New Rhythm and Blues Quartet) is an American rock band founded in 1966, known for their high degree of spontaneity and levity during live performances. Musical elements including rock, pop, jazz and an occasional flavor of Tin Pan Alley styles. Original member, Terry Adams, leads the band and plays a unique type of piano called the Clavinet. The band was joined on stage by members of the Sun Ra Arkestra, which is an added treat. In this episode, we will learn how this band continues to keep such loyal fans, and attract new ones consistently over the last few decades.
