National Politics Update

Listen

With members of Congress on summer recess, some legislators are meeting with constituents frustrated by the gridlock in Washington. In this hour of Radio Times, we’ll look at the issues that continue to divide the two parties, the Congress and the White House and the country. We’ll talk about the politics behind voting ID laws, immigration reform, and Obamacare, and yes, the 2016 presidential hopefuls. We’ll also examine U.S. relationships with Russia in light of the 2014 Sochi Olympics and Edward Snowden, as well look at politicians who’ve behaved badly these last few weeks. Joining us to talk about all of this and more are ROBERT COSTA of the National Review and DICK POLMAN, who writes the National Interest blog at NewsWorks.org.
