Mandarin Magic
Learning a foreign language has been a staple of high school education in Delaware for decades. For six years, bilingual education has been offered to students in kindergarten through fifth grade in dozens of Delaware schools. Today, 1,000 of those kids are learning Chinese.

A DSU history
Two separate organizations, the Delaware Humanities Forum and the Welfare Foundation are bringing the history of Delaware State University to life in the documentary “A Legacy of Opportunity.”

First Experience
Delaware has a really amazing arts scene as you’ve seen here on First every week. This week, the First Experience team is at the Biggs Museum in Dover where there is a double exhibit showcasing two of Delaware’s best arts organizations: Delaware by Hand and the Delaware Watercolor Society. The exhibit is truly the best of the best from these two groups.
