First look sits down with the Delaware delegation to talk about the sequester. It’s a national issue hitting close to home. Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, along with Congressman John Carney talk about what can be done by way of compromise and presidential leadership.

Chapter 3: Catholic Consolidation

Another Catholic school in Delaware is closing its doors. The news came as a surprise to parents and students at Our Lady of Fatima, but parish leaders say the writing’s been on the wall for a while.

Chapter 4: State of Play – Gun legislation

We continue coverage of the Delaware gun legislation this week on State of Play. In the First studios this week is one of the sponsors of one piece of gun legislation, Rep. Valerie Longhurst, she is joined on set by Rep. Steve Smyk of Milton.

It’s been a tough week for the Delaware economy. Astra Zeneca is pulling 12-hundred workers out of it’s Wilmington facility and Fisker automotive announced that Henrik Fisker is leaving his Job. Rob Tornoe joins us this week to put his spin on all this.

Chapter 6: First Experience – Inside the graphic novel

From capes to cowls, and everything in between, the graphic novel has really grown in popularity. The University of Delaware put those themes on display at the UD Library. First experience discovers there is more to be found than just superheroes.
