Elizabeth Cook

American country roots artist Elizabeth Cook has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry over 400 times. Her original music with prominent roots influences have earned her two Ameripolitan Music Award nominations. As the 11th child of musical parents, her Southern upbringing has exposed her to many life experiences, which have inspired her songwriting. She’s toured around the world and was a regular guest on the David Letterman Show. She also hosts an Outlaw Country radio show on Sirius radio, and is a voice on Squidbillies, a Cartoon Network program. In this episode, we will learn how her music has been her rock throughout difficult times and has inspired her new album, “Exodus of Venus.”
