DAVID LAT, a former clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and founder and managing editor of the Above the Law legal blog, has written a new legal novel called Supreme Ambitions. It’s focused on a recent law graduate who secures a clerkship with an unrelenting appellate court judge who is gunning for the Supreme Court. It also takes readers inside the dog-eat dog-world of federal clerkships.
