Listen 00:48:45

Guests: Brigid Harrison, Matt Friedman, and Jonathan Starkey

This Tuesday, New Jersey voters headed to the polls to elect all 80 members of the state Assembly, among other local positions including county Freeholders, school board members, and municipal leaders. Many members ran unopposed, but many other races were marked by an influx of outside money. In today’s edition of Ballot Talks, guest host Mary Cummings-Jordan speaks with BRIGID HARRISON of Montclair State University and MATT FRIEDMAN of POLITICO about the latest in New Jersey politics, including local election results and what Governor Chris Christie has been up to in and outside of the Garden State. We’ll also check in on what’s happening in First State politics with JONATHAN STARKEY of The News Journal. We’re talking Wilmington’s mayoral race, Joe Biden’s decision not to run for president, and more.
