Flyers that mimicked official Democratic City Committee ballot endorsements were doctored to omit 3rd council district candidate Jamie Gauthier.

A coding error in Northampton County caused votes to be flipped on a ballot question that asked whether a pair of incumbent state appeals judges should be retained.

At stake is control of the 80-member Assembly and 40-seat Senate, with Democrats currently dominating both chambers, as well as holding the governorship.

The elections on Tuesday will set the electoral stage for 2024.

The court is currently examining a challenge to a state law that restricts the use of public funds to help people get abortions.
