An intense fire damaged townhouse units in a Jersey Shore community Friday night.
The three-alarm blaze broke out in a residence south of downtown Sea Bright on Ocean Avenue, sparking a heavy response from area fire departments, officials say.
Fire crews, who battled gusty winds to contain the fire, were assisted by a firewall that helped to contain the blaze, according to officials.
The blaze was declared under control around 10 p.m.
One firefighter reportedly suffered a minor injury.
Officials say the fire remains under investigation.
