West Oak Lane Charter expansion will add space, faculty and students

    Ground was broken yesterday for the expansion of West Oak Lane Charter School, which is expected to open its doors next fall as a one-building facility for the first time ever.

    As Aaron Moselle reports for WHYY, the school’s 747 students are currently spread across three buildings. The expansion will not only increase space, but bring the school to its 1,100-student capacity in the next five years
