Weekend shooting started with road rage

New details have been released in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man early Friday night.

Police say the 42-year-old suspect and the victim were involved in a minor car accident just before 9 p.m. around Frankford Avenue and Devereaux Street.The suspect, Donald Griffith, then shot the 20-year-old in the abdomen. The victim died later at Temple University Hospital, and the suspect has been arrested.

West Frankford Town Watch was on the scene with police, and reported the suspect was apprehended on the 6200-block of Gillespie Street.
