Upper Darby couple accidentally receives package of pot

It was a strange delivery Thursday for an elderly Upper Darby couple.

When a package from Arizona came to their house, they left what they thought was a simple mistaken delivery on the porch for the owner to claim. With no bites, the couple opened the package to find a brick of marijuana.
Police traced the address to find it wasn’t real, but the $10,000 package did have the receiving couple’s address on it — something Superintendent Michael Chitwood said happens a few times a year.
