Unemployed? Philadelphia Works launches new online resource for job seekers

A new website aimed at connecting employers to a skilled workforce has recently launched in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Works, a new online resource for job seekers, provides technical assistance on job training and placement services.

According to CBS3, the website provides access to about 200,000 job openings as well as other types of information related to monthly workshops, local workforce data, hiring trends and resume building tools.

The new site and related organization, Philadelphia Works, was created when the Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board and the Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation merged in 2012.
