Trial delayed for accused pedophile pediatrician in Delaware

The trial of Earl Bradley had been scheduled to start tomorrow, but following the death of the judge’s father, that start date has been pushed back.

The man accused of abusing more than 100 young patients will have to wait another week before having his day in court.  Judge William Carpenter’s father died over the weekend, forcing the delay.  The new start date for the high profile trial is June 7.

Earlier this month, Bradley appeared in the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington to tell Judge Carpenter that he did not want a jury trial.  That decision that moved the case back to Sussex County.
